My whole house is my man cave. Why would I get banished to a specific room?

I got sick of building stuff so all my many tools have been squeezed into a side room, my garage... I mean man cave now looks like this... It now has a 32" flat screen connected to my media centre as well

I'm not a complete idiot, I still have some parts missing.

Here are a couple of pictures of my man cave which I set up in a house I just purchased 6 weeks ago.  The place has three living areas so I was able to nab one for my cave.

I have a 40 inch Samsung 3D TV, a PS3 for games, an Xbox 360 as a media center extender, an exercycle, a nice new three seater couch, and all the alcohol I could ever drink (the beer fridge is just down the hall in the laundry.

Why not use ps3 as media extender and games - just saying.

But badass man cave anyways!

My man cave was partially funded by my missus so I had to compromise in some areas. Although she thinks I am joking when I say only girls in lingerie are allowed to spend any time in it...

You cannot use a PS3 as a Windows Media Center extender unfortunately, and that is what the Xbox is for (and also the one in the master bedroom).

Hmmm ok.

I just play stuff directly from my NAS on mine but .mkv files have to come from PC via PS3 media thingee so I see your point.

I wasnt having a serious crack about your cave mate :)

Not quite a techy man cave like others, but after a day fixing networks there's nothing better than getting out into the garage and throwing a spanner around.
This is my 75 Sunbeam Rapier and my 03 Buell XB9R. The Buell has less than 5000ks on the clock, and with a 100hp Harley v-twin and 170kg weight, it goes quite well. Got it at work today - just look at the weather!

Slowly rebuilding the Sunbeam. It was in great condition when I got it, but slowly improving it and just fixing things.

I have a recently purchased 20ft container that is slowly being converted into ma Man Cave :-)

Not too flash for the Home Theatre acoustics though ... all that booming metal work .... may have to giveup on that idea, and leave the "theatre" in the comforts of the home.

Currently lining the walls with shipping ply panels, and wiring power points and lights.

Has an additional corrugated roof over the top, so it doesn't get excessively hot in the summer.

Bringing this thread back.

Does anybody have any news/pictures to share?

Here's my recently finished man-space downstairs. Looking forward to the Formula 1, Winter Olympics getting properly started, more darts, commonwealth games, rugby etc :) it's the first time I've had SKY sport, and the HD-ness is fantastic.

And this is my workshop, sorry for the wonky panoramic photo, it's a little room to get in one photo. Combination of work bench, tools, storage, home of the little beer fridge :)

Cheers,
Joseph
