Worth a shot. Problem is those fans have a 30cm base so you can't get them very close. I may try to rig something up, or I'll rip a fan apart and duct tape it there.

A floor fan as opposed to a pedestal fan may also be an answer, it might sit happily in a window opening.

Quite expensive, but you can get some really powerful industrial pedestal and floor fans. They are pretty loud though, and you'd have to be careful it didn't suck in small children off the street...

Imagine if a bird flew into it... the room and everything in it is now painted red.

I think I'll just take the window out and sit a fan near it, maybe another as an extractor. Thanks all.
