The high current cells used in the 2P5S packs on quality brands like ryobi, milwaukee, bosch etc are rated to 10C for a short duration, not like the laptop cells that are way less than that. Its also why the capacity per cell is lower.

The refund option sucks if you purchased your product under a genuine sale situation.
You then get back some money, but not enough to get a replacement at normal retail/non kick as$ sale prices.

I confirm what Richms says, you get high power and you get high energy cells.  They are for different applications.

Also going to LiFePO4, in a 26650 cell you can even get over 100A out of one cell (but 3A for high energy and 40A for high power is more common).




You can never have enough Volvos!
