Have you absolutely ruled out ghosts?
Not yet, though ghosts probably don't weigh enough to make this noise.
On my cheap headphones, the second noise in particular sounded quite musical (in a "cacophony of discordant notes" kind on way). I know you said ghosts probably don't weigh enough, but have you ruled out ghosts (or small children for that matter) dropping an accordion under the floor with the resulting splurge of random notes? Not saying it is likely, but presumably the more you rule out what it isn't, the closer you must be to finding what it really is... 
Sorry to not have more useful suggestions. Genuinely intrigued to find out what it really is though, so do report back when you find the culprit.

There's a bit of background noise, plus I took the recording on my phone and had to run it through noise reduction twice and amplify it, so I wouldn't be surprised at artifacts.
