Did you see the bit where I linked to Panasonic "shower" mode? It doesn't blow on anyone, it blows across the ceiling.

Based on ten seconds on the panasonic website it appears to be an optional mode, it can send air down as well.

Problem is, that mode would be useless for heating.

 

But one of the briefs was "cooling my daughters bedroom".

 

Blowing warm air on someone isn't as bad as blowing cold air on someone.

 

And seriously, if it's that small of a room, it'll warm up no matter where you blow air.
