My 2c. We bought an old Lockwood with original toilet etc. Took so long to fill which sucked as it also needed two flushes to get rid of the evidence

Anyway replaced with a ~$200 ceramic from Bunnings (pretty sure it was estilo brand). It was such an improvement. It lasted us the 10 years we owned until we sold it. I'm sure it's going strong still. So I don't know what's with all the thin ceramic comments.

Only thing that we did wrong was we planned to tile but got the toilet first. If you plan on tiling get tiles down before you replace the toilet. Otherwise they have to cut the tiles and as a result the toilet is 1cm lower after the tiles go in.
