I use it to clean the stainless on my toaster. I think I got it via the Internet from somewhere.

Tried it on my glass shower yesterday, didn’t work. Didn’t scratch it either though. Might have to try again.

For our shower glass we got it treated with stuff that only requires a rinse and wipe after your shower. Been six months or so now, still like new.

We had it applied with the renovation of our bathroom so it went on before the shower had been used but they say that’s not a requirement.

Update: tried a patch test of 30 seconds brand hard water spot remover thick liquid from Bunnings on my shower door and it is promising. Did a better job than BKF or CLR so I plan on trying a bigger section probably today. I'll let you know how it goes. This one: https://30seconds.co.nz/product/water-spot-remover/

If the deposits have been on the glass for a long time there will be a faint etching into the glass around the edges of the spots. You can polish or dissolve the build up off but it takes a lot more to remove the etch marks.

We moved house 6 months ago and the shower was a shocker calcium deposits on the glass, only thing that worked any good was tigers paw from wet and forget. Went through a few clr type products from Bunnings and they were all useless

Upon thinking, I realised the micro scratches were probably already there but I couldn’t see them for the water spots. The 30 Seconds definitely did a better job than the rest but is going to need to be repeated a few more times.
