Our kitchen light switch did this for years. Never worried about it, but I recently replaced most of the light switches in the house with PDL 600 ones (for cosmetic reasons) and there is no noticeable arching with the new switch. The missus is much happier as it always freaked her out a little.

If changing the switch doesn't fix it then there might be some inductance in the sensor circuit.  If you really want to resolve it then the next thing to try would be to swap out the sensor light for an ordinary one and try that.
