Actually after reading that letter I don't really see what the problem is.

 

You get the option of a free extra bag till March next year after which time you need to pay if you wish to continue using the service.

 

Seems to me to be a very fair offer giving you the chance to try before you buy.

 

From my perspective it seems to be a very good piece of marketing with no hidden fish hooks.

Ahh good ol gardenbags.co.nz, 

 

Ive had a number of run in's with this company, mostly around them trying to pre-date a price change and then when i cancelled within their terms they then tried to claim i didnt give them access to collect their bin. 

 

On other earlier occasions they tried to say the bin wasnt put out for collection (when it was) and then to try and double charge for a missed collection. 

 

On top of this they then sent me debt collection warnings 6 months after service had stopped and the account had been paid up.

 

Really poor service at this place. Avoid.
