He told us go either Westinghouse or F&P, since we already had a problem free F&P for many years that's what helped us to decide.  

 

 

Didn't happen to be in the Porirua store did it, one of the sales guys there was adamant that people should only buy F&P and Westinghouse. Every other brand he would only talk negatively about.

 

The other sales rep I ended up talking to said the most repairs/replacements they get are on the Samsung units and that the other brands were all about the same level.

Nah this was at their Wairua store up here in Auckland, they sell truck loads of whiteware there so that paired with some reviews I read online, mostly from our cousins over the ditch I took his word for it. 

 

Which is a shame, as their prices are good and they're a good looking fridge too.
