BTW: Timmmay, I've probably sprayed this stuff (with Country Mile 360 glyphosate that I buy in bulk from one of the local farm supply stores) a dozen times without effect, so I can definitely say it doesn't work. It might with a surfactant, as some of you suggested, but neat glyphosate, nope. And I always spray at around double the recommended dose.

Could be it won't work on this at all just due to the nature of it, you've got a few suggestions so try the others. It's not meant to work on blackberry either, I found that in sufficient quantity and strength it did.

I tend to go straight to nuclear options as I've tried organic and such in my greenhouse and it just makes the bugs / problems bigger.

It seems to do a good job of keeping the stuff on the reserve below the house in check, I spent a small fortune getting guys in to grub the person-high mound of brambles down there out some years ago and how just hit any new shoots with glyphosate, which seems to see them off. In fact I wasn't even aware that it wasn't supposed to work, but this post from Massey Uni explains more, guess I either used enough of it on the few leaves that were showing, or got them when they were young enough, or it's a variant that's susceptible.
