Ask your neighbors

My neighbors were leaving fish out in the sun to rot , so they could use it for burley . The stink was really bad, so strong I was sure it was coming from something on my section.

Got any pineapple lilies (Eucomis) in your garden? Smell like pee to me but might smell fishy I suppose. I had some in an area where they couldn’t spread but finally got tired of them and dug them out this year. Google an image. :) They're flowering about now. The smell wafts around particularly noticeable at night or morning...

Someone near you using liquid seaweed to feed their garden. When we use it there can be a fish like smell around for a few days and more pronounced in the warmer weather. We apply it in the evening to reduce the odour reaching our neighbours.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
