This replacement "indestructible" trimmer head has been promoted a lot on my feeds recently. Has anyone tried one?

Cheers,
Joseph

Better to get straight from aliexpress than to pay a lot more on a dropshippers site.

I have tried the wire brush style one to clean up mossy pavers where the nylon would just go between paver gaps and snag and it worked ok. Had to get extra stuff to attach to the weed whacker as it seems it was designed more for an angle grinder type mounting.

I'd be careful where I used something like that. I did some electric drill wire brushing too close to the house. The broken strands of brush stuck into the paint and went rusty.

yikes ! for those who havn't used wire wheels before, they spit out bits of broken wire. not to mention it will wreck anything soft.

I have in the past used a bit of not too heavy wire with a screw twisted around one end. Poke it through the hole and bobs your uncle. You have to be careful though its unforgiving if you hit something. Ive also used a long nail to turn it into a scrub cutter. Thats not really a good idea though.
