Yes, I forgot the base model doesn't have a controller with it (still needs an old mobile phone to connect to the Fly More Controller).  

 

Buy it for her and borrow it for yourself :)

 


my kids fly it better than me I crashed it last week into the pergola , they were not impressed :) great fun

Thanks for the thoughts all, it's appreciated. We decided against a cheap drone, I'll think more about getting one of the better ones at Christmas.

I’d say … the „dual use“ Chinese DIJ Mavic 3 for the young at heart kids. 😁
