WWHB:
My first answer is correct, this is a common complaint after high quality double glazing is installed. Google it and you will get loads of answers but it’s no different to dew forming on your car on colder mornings, I only get it on one side of my car but the whole car will be at the same temperature.
You know how it is, something brand new gets minute attention to every detail until it becomes just another part of the furniture and gets largely ignored. Storms used to be my biggest fear but now wishing for a big Southerly to see how watertight they are.
Comparing it to a car has made some sense of it for me. Wanted to make sure installation was as it should be before making final payment.
However…the black silicon trodden into the cream carpet has elicited plenty of muttering. Spent yesterday trying a number of cleaners but a slight shadow still remains. Even bought a spot cleaner to improve chances.
The younger version of myself would have been apoplectic, but this wiser version has become a stoic and is grateful just being alive to enjoy the bigger picture. Making a huge fuss and complaining will cost everyone bad feelings and could lose jobs and I don’t want to do that. I can just grizzle here.
