Forgot to mention ... if the manual says2.4kw and it had cop 3 doesn't it make it 7kw eq of a heat pump

Let me rephrase ... if a 6kw hhet pump fujirsu nocria has cop 4.44 what would the outdoor unit max out? I will try to find out

The units are rated for heating or cooling not electrical power. You divide by the COP to get power consumption.

Your example means 6kW of heating consumes 6kW ÷ 4.44 = 1.35kW power consumption.

This COP does not take into account the power used by the electrical defrost element on the outdoor unit.
