High power demands meaning that vector would rather have it pushing out to the grid I would expect.

Or 0.77kW is not enough to fire up the charger?

I assumed the same 2 options as you suggested but can not clarify as Vector support line is not picking up the phone.

Even 1KW not enough @3 pm:

even worth just now @3:35pm:

or maybe their system has glitches today - this does not make sense at all: @3:40 pm:

Updated with the stats for September:

According to Solar Edge - we have "planted virtual tree" already. Good to know, but we have planted a lot of real trees - in New Zealand and abroad.

Noticed today: for the first time (since deployment) the PowerWall Battery lasted all night before started charging next day in our Solar System:

Portal also presents some "data" which I suppose should make us feel good. Do not know WIFM about those "Light Bulbs Powered":

I got a letter from genesis today. Finally they are going to start reading the meter automatically and not sending those buyer created invoices for a few cents every couple of months when they read. Also putting the price up to 8c.

Makes me happy that I will have less paper and crap to deal with and hopefully get the hourly graphs back again in the app and website for my usage.

October stats are out now.

More exported to the Grid vs Self-Consumed. i.e. When the battery is fully charged and no load - system starts exporting.

Less overall consumption as electrical heating is not in use. Detailed graph is here:

Another screenshot from yesterday, except of few peaks exceeding generated/stored power - 24 hours on solar/battery:
