Thanks for the reply, to try and not derail the thread this will be my last reply on this, you would then simply say "I need a 3 port double adapter" if you wanted one that gave 3 plugs.

 

 

That's a triple adapter... ;)

A twelve outlet power board / power box. Anything over two and I'd go to the board / box nomenclature.

i got a couple of these click boards from bunnings, $24

 

 

 

 

 

 

4 usb, power metering, it also has a master / slave function, ie you turn off your PC and the monitor and speaker are powered off also (not left in standby), and does the opposite when turning PC back on

 

 

I got one of these. It does what it's meant to do, but it intermittently makes an irritating high-pitched whine. It's just infrequent and quiet enough that I haven't bothered returning it, but it's irritating. It's also about the size of a skateboard...

I grabbed one too, since it was only $20 and how bad can it really be. Its still in the car tho because I am lazy.
