We have had Bosch and Meile, all top end models. We had an F&P for a long time before that. They are all pretty much average at best. We have been disappointed by them all.

Next time around, we aren't spending top end, they have some nice features, but none that per perfectly. Our new Miele was supposed to be the last word on Drying, and it's not significantly better than the Bosch we had or the one before that.

Cleaning, it's ok, probably not much better than the Bosch, which we rated as fairly average.

Heard quite a bit about series 6 Bosch. Any thoughts about the series 4 ? Its cheaper. Does that make it nastier or just better value. Does the 6 do anything useful extra for the money ?

Didn't see anything particularly useful on the Bosch website btw.
