Hopefully the government will doing something about the material market in NZ and lack of competition , as it is well overdue. We pay far too much for materials, which is adding to the cost of housing. Builders don't tend to worry about the cost when they buy materials, as they just charge the owners and add a margin.

It must be all the landlords faults.....something to add to their lists of things they're hated for.
