My wife keeps telling me to keep my kinky hose away from her.

It's all a bit of a wash really.

We have a 30m Nylex hose with a lifetime warranty. Got sick of cheap ones kinking and splitting. Had it for over 15 years. The outside of the hose started getting sticky, probably due to sun damage, so I emailed Nylex who told me to take it into Bunnings with their email (which I did this morning) and they would replace it. They did that no questions asked. Got a new Nylex Neverkink with 30 year warranty as they were out of stock of lifetime ones.

Thanks for posting this.  One of ours is about 10 years old and also starting to go sticky - I noticed it for the first time this weekend. We live in Nelson so high sunshine hours.  Originally purchased from M10.

Did you have to provide a receipt when you took your hose into Bunnings?

I find those thermal printed receipts fade to illegible within months unless they are stored out of sunlight anyway.

I scan receipts, name the file with the place I purchased it and what I purchased. I batch scan every week or month, doesn't take long. Searching for a receipt is easy - I use everything search for Windows.
