We have our hour of power set from 6-7am, and everything goes on via the timers built into each appliance - that is ducted heatpump, electric car, washing machine, and the dishwasher; plus a convection heater on an external timer.
2tukapa1 - does your calculation of the one-year contract plan being cheaper than the stay ahead 200 include the 10% discount? It's just that the rates I saw were a bit cheaper, but would not lead to certainly anything like a 10% cheaper bill.
