MadEngineer: Get a specialist filter installer to install one. They should then schedule regular filter replacements with you.



If there is indeed an issue with your water, be on the lookout for any signs of allergies. If your body is under stress dealing with something in the water it makes it harder to deal with reactions to things you’d otherwise be mostly fine with.

Update: this is what I ended up doing, got a water filtration system (with a warranty) installed by a professional for not much more than the Mitre 10 unit. I'm pleased to report we've had no issues with the water since :)
