I had 4x Cat 5 cables @ 10M runs, then I changed all that for cat 6A, I have to say I have actually noticed a speed difference! people asked me why I would upgrade and now I wander why because there actually has been a difference.
Have completed the runs last weekend and needed to redirect the cables from the top down instead of coming in from the side! DUH!
Approx 42 runs completed with 500m of cables! 2 runs from the services hole for phone & UFB to the patch panel. I was expected the building company to complete this but somehow got misconstrued that since i'm running all these data, i should know where they will terminate these services! Lots of swearing later - they've completed this whilst the gibbing carries on from the top floor.
Next update will be when i can bolt the cabinet to the wall and start the cable lock down!

Changing to 6A would not "speed" up your internet connection, could of been a faulty plug instead.

Changing to 6A would not "speed" up your internet connection, could of been a faulty plug instead.

'Nah Ya Dreamin Mate', won't make an ounce of difference unless you are running it next to 3-phase wiring, looped around a commercial transformer, then the last couple of meters over a dozen fluorescent lights.
What type if broadband are you using? ADSL, VDSL, Cable or Fiber.....
