With the rise of PremierLeaguePass I thought I'd create a topic to highlight/discuss other services

NFL GamePass Price: Free
Available through the website or mobile apps (can airplay to apple tv from iPhone/iPad). You can watch every game live or on demand also has back catalogue of games from previous seasons. also condensed version of games.

NHL Gamecenter Price: US$99.95 (on website) or NZ$124.99 (through iPhone app)
Available through the website, mobile apps, and apple tv app. You can watch every game live or on demand. also has access to the NHL Vault of games from previous years. has short highlights of every game (~4 minutes) and condensed highlights (~10 minutes). you can choose to watch the home or away broadcast of every regular season game

NBA League Pass Price: US$269.99 (NZ$319.99 through iPhone app) (Premium) / US$219.99 (NZ$279.99 through iPhone app) (Standard)
both premium and standard give you access to every game of the season live and on demand (including playoffs and all star) and every game from last season. also gives you condensed games.
on premium you can choose between the home and away broadcasts, has access to the NBA Vault and the NBA TV Live channel.
you can view through the website, mobile apps and apple tv app.
cheaper prices can be attained by using a vpn/hola unblocker when signing up. India's prices are US$139.99 and US$99.99.

MLT.tv Price: US$24.99
the seasons nearly over and the $24.99 gets you access to the post season

a service that streamed International Cricket matches would be of interest - all American sports listed here

or even Rugby & League matches

Oh wait... Sky has them tied up

/sigh

bongojona:  League matches

forgot this! http://new.livestream.com/nrl/ just found it last week, it had live streaming of the games, but now obviously the season is over but you can watch every game from the season plus the anzac test and state of origin. you need to use something like hola unblocker as it's blocked here in NZ, setting to the US seems to work.

V8Supercars

Used it on Bathurst weekend, says NZ not allowed, so I couldn't tell if it was geoblocked or not (I use unblockus - but they don't list it as a supported service).

Has a number of different packages, just Bathurst and Sandown are $14.95AUD, there were more for the rest of the series.

bongojona,

You need to be careful when you compare those US packages with what happens in NZ. NFLpass has a blackout for the whole of the US. MLB, NBA and NFL has blackouts for the catchment zone of each team. If you live in New York state you can't watch New York teams etc.

The problem when you compare NZ with the USA is that you are not comparing like except for maybe NFL.
In the other 3 sports the teams play between 82 and 162 games a season so fans only really watch their own team thus local area blackouts where the local PAYTV company has the rights and you can watch any other team(s) on a pass.

In the case of NFL the local PAYTV channel in conjuction NFL season ticket control what is watched. So if you compare to NZ you purchase a SKYTV subscription which includes SKY sports in NZ and in the US you would sign up to a local PAYTV company which would have NFL season ticket as part of it's sports package.

Meh, if that's the case, I'll continue watching it on iSky. This is another case of "Sky taking over 'these' rights!"

http://www.therugbychampionship.livesport.tv/ just found this, apparently the rugby championship was available online (geoblocked here though) tonights game is available for 1.99 euro (I think) but I've set up hola unblocker up for youtube to go through the US so the youtube feed is not blocked https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qA2C_3l3HNA wonder if it'll be in HD?

also on that livesport site they have the a-league http://www.aleague.livesport.tv/ and other football leagues, they have a 99cent trial (think it might be in euro) for a week so I might try it out this weekend.
