Ok so I get my Broadband from slingshot and I have global switched on

So a lot of the time I can go where I want

But every now and again I run into a problem either the book I want isn't for sale in "my country"

or I cant access something on Viki.com "not available in my country"

So I search around and find these dodgy apps that when you research them you find that they have multiple listing son google explaining how to get rid of them of your computer!!!

So is there a definitive solution to cloaking/hiding/etc ones Ip address that is legit and not a scam

But try hola first. Hola to not use apps. If you must use dodgy things use sandboxie

Slightly overboard but we use VPNs, and pay for different VPS servers hosted around the world in addition to an geo unblocker. Could all be achieved by VPN but choice is good

I use strongvpn - they have limited numbers of country changes so I operate 2 accounts.

I have a netgear wirless router DGND 3700 is it possible to put Hola in front of that Thats not the right way to say it I know

what i mean is so that i have it on the router and all 4 computers then go through hola

You see I have xbmc on one computer and i get viki through xbmc hmmm i wonder if thers an app for that?

If your router software supports VPN client then you can connect into a VPN server

If not you can probably flash you're router with different software that does like Tomato or DD-WRT

I have 2 WiFi SSIDs at home, one NZ one non-NZ

I personally like vpns/vps.

I've purchased three vps's one in the uk and two in the us. The latest vps I purchased was 5euro for the year in LA. And that was the more expensive vps rather than 3 euro per year.

Works every time for me.

Hola overloads a bit too easily...
