I have netflix and love it. But would also like to watch some recent releases. Particularly Fast furious 7 as I missed it at the theatres.

Is there any source for this in NZ?

Here's a list of streaming and download video services available in New Zealand.

Anything newer than this you will have to get an Amazon Instant Video account or Apple iTuns US account.

There is also Vudu. But I see that both Vudu and Amazon only have this title for sale at the moment $14.99(US) and with the current exchange rate it might be better to either wait or go old school and head down to the video store to rent it!

Titles come as "Buy" for a couple of weeks and then the option to Rent come later.

Found a local DVD store with 3 bluray new releases for $9. stoked.

Seems we are not quite there yet in NZ for streaming, would be nice if netflix could get the rights for everything.

Itunes sounds like a good alternative for ones I cant find in store. Cheers.

we use google play movies or amazon to rent movies and stream content.

itunes is also an option.

If you want new releases, Netflix is not the streaming service for you (even US Netflix).

Their model is older releases (unless they are Netflix Originals).

iTunes or Amazon instant video for new release rentals.

I use xbox video (Film and TV)/quickflix for my rented sources. Works well. And with Windows 10, you'll have access to xbox film and tv.
