Has anyone else been having issues with Getflix and Hulu Plus constantly buffering (both ads and programs) on XBox/PS over the last week?

We're on 2D UFB 100/50 with Getflix set on the router accessing Hulu from Xbox 360 and PS3. Over the last week it has gone from bad to worse. Ads buffer every 1-2 seconds, shows every 5-6 seconds making it unwatchable. Happens on both Xbox and PS3, streaming from PC seems to be fine however. Have been running this same setup for months unchanged (Getflix for the last few months, Unblock-us for the previous 2 years). Connection was up for a month + so no changes to IP etc before reconnect attempted.

So far I've restarted everything, checked for updates, reset dns settings etc. Netflix and other streaming services are showing no issues (able to happily stream multiple HD Youtube/Netflix streams around the house without a blip). If it appears to be just us than I will try a different set of DNS servers (unblock-us or dns4me) which I've been trying to avoid. I've been following the Unotelly + Hulu thread with interest so hoping it's not just us and our setup.

I'm under instruction to have this fixed before the Dancing with the Stars final airs next week on Hulu so the clock is ticking...

Going by the influx of people commenting on the same issues I finally bite the bullet and tried using a different smart DNS service (Unblock-Us) and wouldn't you know it, Hulu is currently streaming fine. I'll be raising this with Getflix to see if they can identify an issue (ala Unotelly in the other thread).

Edit: Further testing using GetFlix's Sydney servers rather than Auckland has Hulu working again so it appears it may be related specifically to GetFlix's NZ servers. Support ticket raised.

I've been having same problem here since about last Tuesday (17th). Getflix and hulu on apple TV - constant and prolonged buffering. Seems to be only the ads though. Netflix is fine.

I reset/rebooted everything didn't make a difference.

Will try the Sydney servers though....

I've still been having intermittent issues with the Sydney servers but no where near as bad as with the Auck servers. Trace routes show that when there is buffering issues the stream is coming from the US via Japan, normal performance comes from Sydney. GetFlix have raised my ticket to L2 support, waiting on a response from them.

I tried sydney servers but just as bad - buffering on apple tv and really low res on ipad (hulu only). Funny thing is though hulu works fine directly off the imac (which is cabled to the modem), which suggests it's a wifi problem but it cant be as netflix and everything else works fine, and speedtests on ipad are good/same as pre hulu fault?

All my devices are connected by Cat6 so I doubt wireless is your main issie.

Got a response from GetFlix "Level 2" support:

We're aware of this issue and it affects users on multiple ISPs and DNS providers you may want to have a look at this forum for more info/suggestions: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=151&topicid=185300 (Unotelly + Hulu thread)

As you can see very informative and eager to help... ignores the fact that when we ran it through Unblock-Us we had zero issues. Things were alright tonight though, Hulu played without a hitch for several hours.
