Practically every site I try to stream from that uses JW Player fails to work correctly with multiple browsers. I find it hard to believe that something that seems to be so widely used can be such a piece of crap, so I have to ask the question, is it them or is it me? Is there some hidden command that makes JW Player actually work? Why does it seem to cause so many problems? Am I the only one in the world who encounters this, and if I am, what am I doing wrong, please?

Issues I have run into with different Chrome browsers (Chrome, Slimjet, Opera, Vivaldi) include failure to play at all, inability to go full screen, severe audio sync problems, intermittent playback, freezing during playback, on and on. Why do sites insist on using this worthless player? Is it because it is free? Is there anything to do about it?

It's you. jwplayer works fine for me at home on my W10 PC and a standard internet connection, even with multiple forms of ad blocking.

Darn. I sure wish I could figure out what I'm doing wrong, then. Flash works, HTML5 works, just JW Player gives problems.
