Roku seems to be the go to streaming box for Airbnbs overseas. However I'm not sure if we can get Freeview installed on it. It seems Roku isn't even sold in NZ.

Why would you want to stream NZ Freeview in this country when it is already broadcast via both terrestrial and satellite, free of charge, without even the need to pay for a broadband service?

Because some don't want an antenna or a (Sky) dish on their roof
I pretty much gave up on Roku, the WiFi of the stick is really quite poor. I now use an Xiaomi Mi Box, $130 from PBTech, along with a USB Ethernet adapter. Pretty much all the services have Android apps you can run on the Mi Box.
You can do it via a roku app that lets you install m3u playlists. Howvere last i heard they had a big crackdown on such apps due to piracy.

Because you don't have an antenna or dish, and you already have a broadband service.
