I've got a fair few of Spotify's playlists saved.

Most of them have at least one track I can't stand.

Is there a way to tell it that I never want it to play those tracks?

(Note - these are not playlists created by me)

Copy them to a new playlist and delete the one you don't want?

One way around this is to block an artist completely but not sure if you can do for a single song. Search the artist, click on the 3 dots at top right and you should see "Don't play this artist"

That is quite clunky, isn't it?

Surely easier for you to be able to 'silence' individual tracks. Maybe they will get to that eventually.

Can you not just downvote it? That's always stopped them playing for me. Instead of the thumbs up give it the thumbs down

That works for me and also works on other music players like YouTube Music. But I have paid subscriptions so it may not be available to free users.
