Sadly TVNZ have now dropped their unencrypted IPTV compatible streams and moved everything to widevine DRM.

This breaks PVR platforms like MythTV which previously could record their internet streams. Some of the existing Kodi plugins will still work as long as your device supports widevine DRM.

Please give me a nudge if you're aware of any streams that are still in the clear, otherwise I need to re-enable my DVB-T2 tuners.

Thanks for the info. Explains what's been going on this week. I had a feeling something like that was going to be the cause.

Got to wonder if FIFA have a bunch of min DRM specs that even FTA streamers need to use to transmit their content..?

The timing of all these streaming changes right before the 2026 WC cannot be a coincidence..?

The fact that they've moved to a new playout system that supports 6ch audio as well.
