The device limit is detailed on spark sport, It's simply not enforced at this stage.

Unsure why you think I was joking, the issue with Sky is everybody borrows logins. So if they go full app as we all hope, its poor if its easy to bypass that. Same problem. 

 

TBH if it was easy to manage logins so that they know its YOU, and your son, then Im sure multi stream with a minimal if not zero extra $ would work, but how can they manage that so that its not YOU, your mate, and your brother in law watching one paid stream?

User Experience does not stop at the design of the UI. Being user friendly (again not just the UI), throwing in freebies, to get people interested, those sorts of things, are part of the user experience. Building the hype.

It's not an issue with Sky the issue is with PEOPLE stealing. Sky weren't that worried about login sharing initally, they wanted people using the platform. It wasn't a great platform, it's improved, but policing connections came much later, after they determined it was worth people not stealing it.

Spark should be less worried about the odd dishonest person and more worried about what they can do to get subscribers interested and stay interested in what they offer. 1 stream or 2, who cares? Their priorities are all screwed up. They are worried about charging whilst people test their platform for them, and making sure they don't lose any potential income by god forbid 2 people stream their service, but 8 weeks from the biggest sporting event this year for most Kiwi's we barely have a functioning Sony TV App.

Look we know your position. We all do. You even bag Spark on other threads, you do need to get a grip. yes, we know you like Sky a lot as I do, and its inconvenient that RWC is not on Sky.I can tell you one thing for free. If it goes GREAT, you will still find 12 things wrong. No issue with valid points but when its ONKY about the glass half full, every single post its a bit dry.

I spoke about the user experience and you asked so long as the UX was ok, then 1 stream was ok. The point I was making was that the user experience includes things like limiting an account to a single stream.

The shared login and Sky account sharing was a point YOU made. You said that SS probably doesn't want every Tom Dick and Harry sharing an account (With stuff about making sure people are who they say they are) and I replied perfectly reasonably suggesting that should be the least of their concerns.

As does everyone above the "flawless" Spark Sport for you. Doesn't stop you expressing it every page or two. Every bad word, comes with tdgeek policing the thread accusing anyone (not just me) who dares speak a word of negativity as "bashing" or "ranting". People are entitled to express an opinion that differs from yours (or for that matter or anyone elses), as a result of potentially having a different experience from yours. I tried the new Sony TV app and provided some feedback, the first I have had to say for quite a few pages. I was surprised about 1 stream per account, think it's short sighted when they are struggling for subscribers but apparently, I am not allowed to do that either.

Last time I checked I paid for Spark Rugby Pass, so I have reasonable right to voice the opinion that things are, 8 weeks out, worryingly far from what I (and many others) would have thought it should be by now. Of course, we are all being utterly unreasonable and we should all just get a grip and be grateful for whatever Spark deems to give us.

I dont need any more mirrors from the existing collection from you.  Just commenting on your incessant negativeness, which began the day it was announced Sky will not have the RWC. That's the start of this story. You had already decided it was wrong for all of us, as it didn't suit you. Thats the basis of your comments, from day one. Before anything had happened, that's it in a nut shell.

A single stream is a talking point. I have one possible reason why, you decided that Sky has been down that track. Incorrect. The majority of Skys lifetime was with out SkyGo logins. Piracy is an obvious consequence, but no that hasn't been resolved by Sky. Hence, it is relevant. In any case, why there is 1 stream and why there may or may not be more options is as usual overriden by deep seated conclusions already drawn. I was probably incorrect to offer a comment why 1 stream may be reasonable, as a decision on that has already been made....  

Unsure about the flawless Spark Sport. I have found it very good, and there have been issues. I have also posted these here and fedback. In fact my internal feedback has probably been the most frequent. So while I can and have commented on the good points I am free to comment on the work that requires feedback. Which is obviously, issues. Thats the difference, I dont have a pre written psalm to sing all day long. 

Not allowed to talk about 1 stream? Why not? I placed a one liner as to why that might be the case. We all know how widespread Sky Go logins are. I also recall asking how that can be managed, so that users can have more streams but it not be abused. Fair points I feel. Not allowed?? Melodramatic.

Its off course fair to comment as RWC is only 8 weeks away. You told us you have Kayo, and I recall a post not long ago that you intend using that instead. Hence my comment.

If you feel that you offer clear, concise, objective and genuine concerns, then I guess I disagree. Its generally complaining. Not just this topic.  Others here have shown concerns, and others try help them. Now, we have all been here long enough to see the usual biases, some may choose to ignore, some laugh and some comment back. In what is a new project about to show major content, and given that this new project is not yet complete, its probably more relevant to discuss and help, than use it as a platform for discontent. And no, that doesn't mean say nice stuff or be quiet. The opposite. But if its all based around an axe to grind, then thats all it will ever be. 

Re your Sony, I hope you have fed that back. The feedbacks do get looked at seriously.
