KevinL: Nice.  The Pandora Android app is available in the Google Play Store, for what it's worth.  I had a previously registered account - some time ago it wasn't geo-blocked and you could access Pandora by signing up with a US zip code, so it's nice to see it working again.

Just tried installing on both my phone and my wife's.  Both show "This item cannot be installed in your device's country"

Hopefully this get's updated soon.

For my Android I got around this by searching Google for pandora.apk and downloaded it from another site. It installed and ran without problems.

You can't load Pandora onto an iPod yet, it won't even show the app in the app store. I also sideloaded the Android app to my tablet.

Strange, works for me just fine - mind you, I used the online Google Play store on my desktop and not the one on my device (not that that should really matter).

I tried both. The app just doesn't appear in the store on my phone.  It's the online store that I can see the error message on.

Perhaps your phone is somehow registered against a different country?

Oh wow, a huge welcome back to Pandora. I just received the stock welcome back email from the founder and felt it was a really nice touch.

I have gotten used to banners saying "This service is not available in your country" with a "coming soon" promise, but knowing that it will never actually happen. So it's great to see a service like this actually follow through :)

All my stations were saved. I'm having a 5 year flashback to my musical tastes of the time, and I love it!

Welcome back Pandora. Rock on.

If you have root on your phone you can use market enabler to spoof your country, you will probably have to clear the Google Play app cache first though. Can you side load it without root?

Pandora will be officially launched in New Zealand next week. Received an invite for a coffee with its founder to discuss but as I am in Wellington will miss it :(

Delegate, man!  You've got a few mods, surely one of them is in Auckland.  Having an official Geekzone interview with the founder of a very big name US content provider would be quite the coup Tongue Out

I'm very excited to have Pandora back - works on my laptop; and got the .apk from xda forum; now I just need to find out how to get the pandora app back onto my squeezebox - any suggestions out there for that?

Log in to your account and change your country settings to United States. This works for Squeezebox, UE Smart Radio and Sonos. I have all three and all have access to Pandora, I may have used a VPN to set-up though, I can't remember.

I am talking to Pandora's founder Tim Westerngreen on Monday. If you folks have any questions you'd like asked about the service in New Zealand in particular or in general, post here and I will ask.

Yep, ask him why we aren't getting Pandora on devices in NZ and more importantly why we're having to pay full price for an incomplete service.

Two questions:
- When will NZ get a supported version of the Android app from google play?
- Why did he feel the need to email everyone four times about his coming to NZ? I've put @pandora.com on my spam list now.

You probably shouldn't ask the second one though.
