rokki: Hi I am on Vodafone Fibre in Auckland I use unblock-us. The devices I have to use are
Roku 2 XS
Roku 3
Apple TV
Xbox One
PS3
Surface 2 Pro
Etc
All work fine for me I even get 3D on Netflix only 720p on the PS3 but 3D nonetheless :) and Super HD when it is available.
KiwiTim: I have the Vodafone InHome cable service (formerly Telstraclear InHome cable), and am using Unotelly.
My network speed is never greater than 14 mbps. I find that Netflix often pauses and buffers on the PC, both through the browser, XBMC app, and Windows 8 app, however on my Samsung Smart TV there is no buffering.
Resolution is not fantastic, but watchable.
I think the issue must be that transparent proxy that Vodafone is using.
I recall reading that Netflix only requires 5 mbps to display HD video, so my 14 mbps should enable me to see HD video from Netflix, but it isn't.

Give getflix.com.au a try. 14 day free trial and no c/c required for the trial. Worked for me.
UnoTelly has DNS servers in Auckland apparently, whereas getflix runs out of Oz so I can only surmise that Vodafone's routing for UnoTelly is not as optimised as getflix. Not certain the proxy is the issue in this instance. Be nice if it wasn't there at all but yeah...

You gave me an idea there. Unotelly has dynamo servers in Sydney as well as Auckland. Changed the DNS to Unotelly Sydney, and guess what: no buffering!
Resolution still does not look fantastic. I'm reluctant to change my ISP as I signed up for 60GB @ $55/mth, which is a great deal. This deal is no longer available, so I think I'll keep with it.

Hi Stenk i used to get the 3D on ADSL2 with Vodafone last year but it would buffer for a long time my speed down at the time was around 13mbps and about .86 up. But as i said it would buffer for forever to do it :) .

Thanks for the reply rokki. Thinking of getting VDSL and was hoping with the stated speed increase that it would be possible to stream 3D. Fibre is just not going to happen any time soon in my area.
