Thanks for replying. For some reason I can't get dishworld to work using getflix. Works with some free vpn services but video quality is very bad. What's your quality like on Hindi Channels and what settings do I need for getflix so it works? Thanks

We primarily watch Sony, Set Max, Star Plus, Willow, Zee, MTV, Colours and NDTV. MTV, Colours and NDTV are SD @ 2MB/s (quality is still good). Rest are all HD. There are way more channels than this but we don't really watch them. The best feature in DishWorld is their 7 day archiving features of all channels. You can watch any show/channels that you have missed on demand as they store all of this on their servers.

Getflix works fine. When you go to Getflix's website, did you run the DNS check and did it pass or fail? Did you update your modem/router's DNS fields as well?

I updated DNS settings on my PC only and the DNS check passes but still not working. Do I have to update DNS settings on modem too?

Updated DNS settings on router, still can't watch Dishworld, BBC iplayer etc. work fine!

The only extra bit of setup I have is Static route's because few months ago, DishWorld started using hard coded Google DNS server IP's so anyone coming from overseas was automatically blocked. Netflix does the same AFAIK so I implemented the route's to get DishWorld working again but a week later DishWorld removed the route's I guess because too overseas users would have requested cancellation since their service (which tbh is not supposed to work outside USA) stopped working. Looks like they have implemented this again. I never took my static route's off. Your modem/router needs to support Static Route's. Not all modems/router have this functionality. Below is mine. I have a fritz!box

Login into fritzbox and add these 2 static routes that go no where. I used 192.168.1.30 and 192.168.1.31 because these IP's are not pingable and being used (My fritzbox's IP is 192.168.1.xxx) hence the subnet. You need to find 2 IP's on your network that are not pingable either from your laptop/PC. Your router's gateway might be 192.168.178.1 (if it is a fritzbox) or 192.168.1.1. If so then 2 IP's need to be 192.168.178.xxx or 192.168.1.xxx

Do whatever you want to do man.

There is this.. cheap enough $29 for all the Aussie cricket but no worldcup and you would need a vpn or dns service.
