There is a replacement wall adapter that has a USB to ethernet inside it, but they dont make it in a AU plug version so cant get locally.

how much were they scott?

I thought the usb links to TV so no need for power supply anymore (which always seemed a bit nuts).

Whats the major benefits of 2.0?

IM thinking $30 for 1.0 might just it for me.

I found it unstable when using the TV's USB port. That same port would only charge a phone at 600mA before sagging so the CC probably just takes too much for it intermittantly.

Also means you need to wait for it to boot after turning the TV on, and it cant turn the tv on for you when you press to cast to it.

$60 as I said earlier.

The way it is powered hasn't changed. It has a microUSB port just like v1.

2.0 has 5GHz wifi.
