richierich1968: For livestream? It's free - is not a subscription based service.

You can go to livestream.com and watch also but you'll need a VPN or DNS unblocker to bypass the NZ geoblock

Ok, so not legit, thats what I asked. You should have just said no.

Not sure I understand what you mean. Livestream is a perfectly legit service. Their platform is used by broadcasters worldwide - it's not a dodgy Eastern European streaming service. But you can stream events from the website or app for free.

So, if its legit, you don't need a VPN to hide your true location. No further questions your Honour

The NRL restricts broadcasts where they already have agreements in place - so NZ and Aussie for example are geoblocked because of arrangements with Sky and Foxtel. So therefore a VPN is needed.

The defence rests, Your Honor 😊

Guilty as charged!  You are avoiding the agreements you mentioned. I will get me mate Don to get his enemies the CIA to grab you. maybe add you to his ban!

Is the feed good? I have a mate that often uses cricinfo for free feeds. I can't imagine what the quality would be like

Livestream quality is good 98% of the time - in HD. I've got fiber tho 😉

NRL Livestream is working smoothly tonight! Roosters vs Dogs has been perfect so far.

Did you ever get asked for a password from the Livestream app when watching thru AppleTV? As mentioned, I am with the Roku app. I emailed the NRL and they say they have no control over the Roku/Livestream integration and that I should talk with both of them. Did so...and I get referred back to the parties.

Doing my head in - not to mention missing watching the games on the big screen.

It's never asked me for a password on the Apple Tv4 app.
