Ned I believe at this stage none of the data for us with WXC is zero rated for Quickflix so don't be so certain you won't still have a 80gig month. I think Maverick is saying that at this stage customers should consider the content as not zero rated even with it partially being on Akamai.

Would this be correct Maverick???

Although this thread has not been updated since April '12, I found it via a search for a query similar its topic so, I thought I would provide an update. Despite the mention in this thread, that Xnet were looking at zero rating Quickflix, I was told today (by Xnet customer service), that any content downloaded from Quickflix will count towards your plan's allowance.

This might not matter to those on an unlimited or high data plan but, for those on a limited or older plan (like myself), it will definitely make the service a little less desirable. I'm not sure if any ISPs zero rate Quickflix but thought I should add to this thread that Xnet, (at the time of writing), do not. Just to remove any doubt cast by posts on this page.

Damn thats a shame, with Quickflix now on Tivo I could see myself using the service.  Been with WXC for many years now might need to reconsider and move to Telecom just for the zero rate deal.

Bad news on this front. Quickflix won't be uncapped for TiVo Telecom customers soon (beginning of next year they say) only the EPG & software updates will be upcapped (which isn't much data anyway) when the billing/usage platform is ironed out.

If not zero rated, the why not increase our data caps? (no additional cost of course)
I know I (meaning the kids) could use another 50 - 100GB per month on top of our existing 100.
