Wish it would link into the Apple tv app with the up next feature like in USA and Aus, as the lack of up next in the Disney+ app is annoying

Just been in live chat with Disney support about not getting HDR on my Sony TV , was told this is a known issue with all 4K TVs and is being escalated . Sounds odd as I am sure I have seen posts of people who are already watching in HDR so maybe not all 4k TVs .

Watching A New Hope in 4k. My gosh it looks clean! You can see every tiny detail. Wow.

Has anyone managed to login by using the mobile app?

I have the Disney+ app installed on my Fire TV and now on a JBL soundbar (which is also an Android TV device). In both it shows "Login or open the mobile app and we will take from there".

Opened the mobile app and in neither case the apps managed to see each other so I had to manually enter the password - all 32 characters (lower/upper, numbers and signs)...

Worked fine last night for my Nvidia Shield using iPad app to login. As soon as I started the iPad app, Nvidia Shield recognised & logged in.

The opening desert scene. You can see the marks/blemish covering 3CPO's torso, real eye popping detail.

A bit of buffering and pauses tonight and its struggling to maintain 4k atm keeps going pixelated like its dropping to 360/480p.

YES works on my wifes P30 Pro casting it to the Chromecast.

It is not about casting but about using the mobile app as a login for the Android TV/Fire TV app.

Damn it's really unstable tonight. Hopefully they iron these issues out eventually.

On Android TV (at least) I don't see any indication that I have watched an episode of a show.

Also doesn't seem to present a 'Continue Watching' section. I would have thought they would be standard features or am I missing something here?

Thanks. Unreal that they can launch without something as important as watch status.

I had a play last night on the XBOX one. I've got a 4K TV (not HDR capable) and an Atmos capable receiver. All Disney plus app would offer me is 1080p and 5.1 (Dolby digital I assume). It looks like Atmos isn't enable on for the Xbox app from waht I can tell. I don't know why it won't give me 4K, possibly because the screen is not HDR compatible.

I watched The Mandolorian, it looked ok. The selection seemed smaller than I was expecting. I don't think I'll keep it for long except for The Mandolorian.

Do you have hdcp 2.0? One of the other streaming apps would only give me 1080p without that working.

Both the receiver and TV claim to be HDCP 2.2 compatible.

I flicked through the entire catalog last night... it didn't take long.

The vast majority of the series are just kids shows, and the only movies worth watching are the Disney/Pixar films and the Marvel films. And I've seen most of these already.

They are going to need to churn out A LOT of original content, and soon, to make this worth keeping.
