Looks like there will be announcement tomorrow about the details of the connect/online service and will be ready by the weekend or next round of games. Bein Sports confirmed it on their twitter account. Will be a backlash if there is no catch up features.

Looks like they are offering a month free trial which I think is appropriate so that people can see if it's worth the cost or not.

Only BeIN 1 quality didn't look good to start with, but might be my network connection.

Also tried getting the iOS app but my Itunes says it's only available from the Saudi Arabian Store !

Looks like they did some ruthless testing these last two months prior to launching online

Signed up to the month trial. Only access to bein 1, I assume the other games will come on on sunday morning, otherwise what's the point?

Got the app via the australian app store, it works fine. airplay works good (can turn the screen off and the stream keeps playing, better than plp). they will just have to 'flick the switch' so the app goes up on the nz store.

I wanted to subscribe but the subscribe button didnt work so I went on another laptop and the button disappeared completely. Oh well..

Any word on the other channel and the pop up channels?

Got to say it seems quite a poor service. I can't get it to open on my phone or in my smart TV only on the laptop. Quite disappointed really.

and just looking at the online service, below, good that they offer a free month, 180$ for the year even though its not the full year, but 18$ a month is not bad. I think plp were 150$ for the year but then went up to 200$ for year3 and maybe year2? but its still only live and not on demand, but if it offers the 5 reasons below, then it's getting there...

So BeIN are saying that the date for Sky subscribers to get access to their BeIN connect service is still to be confirmed!

This is painfully slow and I just got their standard 'cut & paste' response to a message on Facebook. Their customer service and communication is really poor. This is a shame, because I have a feeling that they are here to stay in terms of football broadcasting.

I haven't even managed to find a link to a login page where my SkyGo details could be used anyway.

Especially disappointing as there is no live coverage of Manchester United v Burnley according to the Sky planner. I'll have to wait till 10am Sunday for delayed coverage (ah well, at least I'll get my beauty sleep in!)
