Yes.  Same thing has happened on my LG OLED   Very annoying

OK this is a strange question but has anybody noticed Disney+ somehow turning motion smoothing ON on their TV? On my Samsung the "motion plus" setting has somehow come on from off to auto twice since I started Disney+ and watching the Mandalorian I noticed it looked quite off. This morning watching E3 and although I am sure it was off yesterday it was back on to "auto" somehow when I began watching the episode. I know it sounds really paranoid and weird and I've checked nobody else in the house has been messing with the TV settings...

(I'm not TOTALLY crazy as other people have commented about similiar issues... https://www.reddit.com/r/DisneyPlus/comments/dverqe/soap_opera_effect/ )

I'll check this tonight on my LG C8. I'm usually pretty sensitive to this and can usually tell straight away if that setting is enabled, and I didn't notice.

I’m really enjoying the Imagineering documentary series. Walts vision was really amazing.

I read that Disney+ can be integrated into the Up Next feature of Apple TV app. Has anyone had any luck doing this or is the feature not enabled here in nz.

My LG C8 OLED isn't doing this.

Are you getting Dolby or just stereo on you C8?  I get Dolby if I use ATV but only stereo on the C8.

@stocksp I'm pretty sure I'm getting Dolby Digital 5.1 via ARC to my receiver, but I'd need to double check tonight.

No, sadly I don’t think Apple have enabled this for New Zealand.

@stocksp I was half right. It’s Dolby Digital, but unfortunately it is only 2 channel NOT 5.1 like I thought.

Disappointing.

Same here. I’m running it through Apple TV to get 5.1

Dolby 2 channel on TV Applic. Hope they fix it soon.

Sound not as good as Netflix. Netflix has more bang.

Looks like the "continue watching" feature has been re-enabled

On both the Android app, and AppleTV

Gonna take out a one year subscription, but I think I'll wait until the service is a bit more reliable.

Does the pricing include GST? Are they collecting and paying GST?

I paid $10NZD in the last couple of days. Not sure on whether they're actually collecting GST.
