RE :RWC Chatham islands

Story has now changed .. they changed to satellite mentioned from D1 to D2. I shall be looking there at match time. But it still seems stupid if they are blowing money on a sat organized satellite feed. They do get Sky over there on the Chathams. Sky has all those customers in their records. Spark could of done a deal that they got the RWC popup for the same price as the Spark Sports online service.

I'm not sure whether it's because I registered early on when Spark Sport launched (but didn't carry on with the subscription) but I looked at the schedule for the RWC coverage in the app and it says I have purchased some of the games -
Tonight's Japan v Russia
28 September Argentina v Tonga
4 October South Africa v Italy
9 October Wales v Fiji

They are all games which are live on TVNZ1 but if anyone wants to try out the SS streaming check it out.

Yeah, that's an artifact of having a Sparksport account and those games being tagged as FTA. The online stream for them can't be purchased as a single game and this prevents that - It's not a perfect presentation - but as you say, it's a good chance to try it out!

Cheers - N

Less then 20 minutes until streaming starts, would be interesting to be a fly on the wall in the Spark NOC tonight.

Currently watching the Singapore F1 Practice live on SS and its working like a charm. I assume a lot of people will use the live FTA coverage for the Opening Ceremony tonight rather than SS, So the real test for the platform will be tomorrow night?

@Talkiet - so far so good!

And a big thanks to Vodafone for having issues 2 minutes before coverage started!! Had to restart the cable modem and router to get connection going again... impeccable timing as always.

I'm watching the opening ceremony live (ATV4) and the picture quality is really good. Not sure about Stephen Donald commentating though, he sounds like he's eating a chop when he talks. Scotty Stephenson is good though.
