Having not touched Spark Sport till tonight, does "Watch from start" not work? It just takes me live instead of from the start

Edit: Seems to be an Apple TV thing..

Working fine using Kodi 18.4 on a desktop Linux box with Matt Huisman SS plugin. Stream is >7Mbps. Impressed that Kodi is doing hardware decoding not just hardware rendering of a protected stream. Kodi is using just 9% of one core . In Chrome browser works fine but using about 60% of 4 cores due to software decoding. On 50/20 fibre / Trustpower.

Only noticeable thing so far is that Spark Sport is running about 20 seconds delay on TVNZ.

That was explained on Stuff today. The delay is a problem with streaming

Just tuned in on an Apple TV 4k.. some of the panning shots of Tokyo looked quite jerky

Otherwise no problems with quality etc

Watching it on my Chromecast Ultra smooth as and crystal clear.

The city shots appeared a bit jerky to me on broadcast TV as well so probably an issue at source

I have a ATV4 with SparkSport pass.

Unfortunately I am unable to get it to work, end up with a DRM license request failure.    I am wondering if this is because I use dns4me?

I did try the TVNZ on demand app to try to stream it from TV1, but this is disabled.   Might have to plug the antenna back in ;-(

Sweet, the actual opening ceremony itself is fine.. it was just those particular city shots so good to know

Yes. Use the ISP supplied DNS if you want it to work.

Cool, I raised it via online chat. She said she'd raise an issue with the product team, so hopefully that gets ironed out before tomorrow as I won't be able to watch the AB's game live. Going to see the Downtown Abbey movie with my wife tomorrow ^_^
