Could it be they are blocking new Onesmart signups? I had the DNS set to US, Onesmart with sufficient US funding and the Youshop zip code. It's ok though, I didn't see myself using it enough to justify the ongoing sub but wanted to try it out.

Very odd. I updated my expired OneSmart card number with replacement card details just a couple of months ago without issue.

Your alternative option is to create a US iTunes account, which will accept your OneSmart card for payment, then use that to subscribe to Hulu Plus. Just make sure to use an Oregon address or you'll get charged sales tax on your subscription, making the overall cost slightly higher.
