freitasm: Did France X Argentina just glitched at around 29 minutes mark with a freeze of about eight seconds?

Glitched twice here, once for 2-3 seconds, second time for 8-9 seconds. Has been fine either side though. Aus vs Fiji game was flawless (well except for the result).

Others will no doubt know more than me, but I would not be surprised if live streaming does come with occasional glitches, just a fact of life. If its infrequent, thats fine

Yes a saw a freeze but thought it looked like an issue with the source feed.

I doubt it. In my case I saw the spinning wheel - which means the app was waiting for something, so not sure it would be the source.

Anyway, one small thing, no big deal. Unless there was an All Blacks try at that moment.

Oh ok... no spinning wheel for me. Just a picture freeze, audio was fine.

Hi all... I just tried to purchase a Match Pass for NZ v SA, but the 'Buy Match Pass' option isn't visible for me on this page - https://www.sparksport.co.nz/tournament/rwc2019

I fired up the Spark Sport live chat and was told this is a known issue they're trying to resolve at this very moment. Anyone else experiencing this?

Edit: And it's been fixed! Phew...

Stream still working well here. In the middle of nowhere. Over 4g of all things while pretty much everyone else is dancing around trying to find some 3g for a voice call.

So much of the negative feedback I've seen so far relate to modem, WiFi or In home setup issues.
Is a shame, overall its looking great.

Numbers I have seen are looking real nice too, network folk have done an Ammazing job.

The pity is that people don’t care who’s fault it is when things go wrong... easier to just blame Spark. Have watched every stream so far and only noticed one small glitch... I’m not even sure that was Sparks fault.

Usually if a glitch with a sat feed happens the Spark (or sky) logo in the corner remains clear. as they overlay that at their end

I read one article where people couldn't get decent 4G coverage to watch RWC. Yet, the same community had opposed the installation of cell towers to improve coverage. Hmmm...

I see one player, Carreras I think was brought into this RWC side 2 days after his Argentina debut. When the commentary team said that tonight, he has had 20 minutes of international rugby experience, very cool story.

Hey now, be realstic... Can't be removing their point to argue using!

Some folk create issues for themselves. Other create it for those around them..

A few minutes ago mine went to low res, maybe 250p for about 8 seconds. No freeze though

Same here but the rest great.

I'm getting a few periods of poor resolution, but so far no total dropouts.
