Shindig:

Wanted to keep with the SS stream as I can imagine they are looking at all the usage stats etc.

i'd expect a few providers are also watching it from a network POV

Commentary is on but the track audio/effects are waaaaaaaay too low. Can barely hear the cars over the chatter :(

Has anyone been able to use the TVNZ iOS app, I can, click Episodes and nothing , on both iPads and iPhone. Webpage works

Can spark have a chat to their "partners" at TVNZ, and get them to ask freeview to add the feeds to the smart TV menus, otherwise cant access from my clever TV. I can cast but this uses WIFI and is buffering, the TV is connected to Gigabit Ethernet.

Agreed! They're probably picking up the Sky UK commentary clean audio via host feed instead of Sky UK Mixed.

Stream is looking great though. I'm going to try the APK on my Android TV tonight, as chromecast on my A8F is okay at best.

I'm not ready to sign up yet, but I do need to be up to speed by the RWC.

This is what I have to work with:

A Chromecast Ultra

An old Samsung Galaxy Tab S that only works if its plugged into power

An ipad Mini4

A FireTV , it has the voice remote but is not 4K

A 10y old Sony TV that is on its last legs.

I do not have to worry about WAF, but I do have a much bigger problem.... HAF.

What would be the ideal setup?

Ditto for the Android app. Means I can't cast it properly as the TVNZ web page on laptop doesn't have native Chromecast support.
