gehenna:

Stream is definitely not up to the task for the demand.  Every 20 seconds it’s dropping down to sub-sub-SD for 5 seconds or so.  Froze once for a few seconds here at the same time as posted above.

If the internet is just a series of tubes, the Spark Sport ones appear to have high cholesterol 🤔

This. Was about to post exactly that. The sub-sub-SD is horrendous to watch.

Dropping in and out of watchable resolution more and more as the game goes on.

Also, does audio sound very 1 channel?

- 2degrees Gigabit Fibre (always rock solid)
- Chromecast Ultra
- SS Android app
- LG UHD 2018 TV (*cough* no app)

Also when you post about any drops please state if using Smart TV, ATV, Chrome cast, Freeview DishTV box or what else.

We are having continue freezes and dropouts. Refreshed the page and it locked us out saying too many devices online. Really disappointed.

Also good to know which ISP, as people will be served off different CDN caches etc

Samsung App, Q7 TV, VF 100 fibre, wired.

Frequent drops to very poor quality, but no total loss of feed.

Just the TV and my laptop (wifi) in use.

Constant drops in quality via Samsung TV (wired) app, 2degrees consumer max fibre.

Going to try via casting from PC and/or phone to cabled Chromecast Ultra (also wired) for the 2nd half.

The adverts during the break are also reducing in quality.

AB vs SA. Sporadic very poor picture quality, resolves after 10-15 seconds. Has happened twenty or so times in the 1st half. No problems all afternoon with the other live games.

Spark Fibre 100. Chromecast.

The resolution drops are still better than Sky in the middle of a thunder storm. LOL.

Resolution drops for the ABs game, more so the last part of the first half, runn8ng on Apple TV 4K on spark uff in palmy.
Noticed earlier when using the home theatre for sound that the audio would frequently drop to 1 channel (usually the right front). Haven’t seen (heard) it when using the inbuilt speakers on the LG OLED B8
