On 50/20 UFF fibre Trustpower. Wired ethernet .Worked perfect all afternoon till 10min into the AB game. After that multiple drop outs bordering on unwatchable. If they had not gone to Duke would have been asking them for a partial refund at min and I'm not the complaining type generally

watching other ways with no issues, we don't have aerial tv in my house, so if I bought this form spark and couldn't watch it, duke isn't going to help.

Balm its gone!

Yeah its constantly dropping to around 240p and jumps back up to full HD. Kinda annoying

the stream hasn't dropped altogether though.

Received from Spark:

Spark Sport Simulcasts All Blacks vs Springboks match on TVNZ Duke

Due to a small percentage of our customers experiencing streaming quality issues when watching Spark Sport on certain devices, a decision has been taken to switch live play over to TVNZ Duke.

The New Zealand v South Africa match is now playing live on both TVNZ DUKE and Spark Sport.

For those customers who are experiencing a poor stream via Spark Sport, turn your TV to channel 13 or DUKE on Sky channel 23. This match is not available through the TVNZ website or TVNZ OnDemand app.

Spark Sport will communicate more detail on why this decision was made in due course.

No doubt they'll be able to analyze where choke points may exist. Quality drops here on wifi CC, but maintained about 30 sec behind Duke. Nothing to write home about. Some work for them ahead of next match.

arnies: To be fair the streaming hasn’t been much worse than other big games I’ve watched (Super Bowl on Gamepass etc).

Actually a bit disappointed Spark decided to switch on Duke, as the media will have a field day.

The Herald certainly noticed.

Off to Duke, unwatchable on Spark Sport using Apple TV, picture was continuously going in and out of focus, a pity really.

If they manage to fix the issue before the end of the game, does it get taken off Duke and everyone goes back to streaming it? Or does it stay on Duke now until the end of this game?
