Install the live streamer windows setup, use the defaults for the install

You don't need VLC to be open it will open automatically when the channel is chosen

if livestreamer can't be found then possibly the path is not correct, the command is not being started.

Re-install the livestreamer and try again

Thanks, got it working (Return of the Jedi is on), put the zipped 7-play file in the livestreamer folder in Program files and made a shortcut to desktop and it starts fine in one click.

ockel: Cricket - for sure.  And V8 supercars.  Some NRL and AFL matches.

You're not getting V8 supercars on those channels...

Australians can already watch the v8's on Tenplay.  Thats Ten's catchup offering with live streaming of news and some sports.

Hard to believe that if Nine are launching and Seven are bringing plans forward, that Ten wont be far behind in doing full live streaming of their broadcast.

I live here, I know... except that Ten is going broke and V8s only show 5 races FTA anyway. The rest are on foxtel.

Looks interesting, but I'll keep my TVHeadEnd box in Sydney thanks. I finally got it working just in time for Bathurst, turns out all my problems were due to bad reception in Sydney.
